Farrier Adam FitchAdam Fitch - Farrier

Based near Oundle, Northamptonshire Adam runs a busy farriery practice predominately shoeing competition horses and hunters. Since qualifying in 2001 Adam has represented England farriery team and competed at the European farriery championships also competing at county shows throughout the summer.
"Believing that a balanced hoof capsule combined with symmetrical shoeing to aid the limb is the key to unlocking optimum and sustained performance from your competition horse."

Oakham Veterinary HospitalOakham Veterinary Hospital

Oakham Veterinary Hospital has provided us with their services for 40 years. At the moment Neal Ashton B.Vet. Med. Cert. EP. CertES. MRCVS and Alex Knott MA VetMB. MRCVS are our primary team vets and are fundamental in ensuring that we are able to present healthy, fit and sound horses for competition. We are very lucky to have such a top-class resource so close to us. The lives of my JRN mare and her two-year-old Stravinsky foal could not have been saved were it not for the proximity and experience of Oakham Veterinary Hospital.

My ParentsPeter and Charlotte Cooke

My parents are passionate supporters of eventing and have given up so much to help and support me. I consider them to be an extremely important part of my team as they are largely responsible for logistics.
My Father was born into a Lincolnshire farming family steeped in hunting tradition, and my Grandfather had enormous success as the owner of flat racehorses. My Father's introduction to eventing was, first, through the Pony Club and then as a fence judge at Burghley Horse Trials, which he has now been doing for 30 years. He enjoyed years of competitive team chasing and is still enjoying his hunting. I value his years of experience.
My Mother hunted, team chased and then embraced racing, training point to pointers with great success for many years. Her experience in racing gave her the knowledge of the health and fitness of horses which has helped me to keep my horses sound. As I became committed to eventing the point to pointers and hunters in the family yard were reduced in numbers as I began to take over! My Mother is a vital member of the team, and helps in every department.

SnowySnowy, Tonka Bean and Ivy

Snowy is our team dog! She is an Alaskan Malamute, or "snow wolf", and she goes everywhere with Gaby. She has some unusual habits, such as collecting swan's eggs and burying them; catching pigeons and cracking walnuts! Tonka Bean is out newest addition. She is a Tamaskan (think of the Wolf in Game Of Thrones) and will be out and about this Summer for you all to meet. Ivy is our resident "hot water bottle" and Snowy's partner in crime!
